The Bedgrove Extended School Time Club
At Bedgrove Infant School we provide our own wraparound care and holiday club provision for children aged 3 to 11 years old.
The BEST Club offers endless fun and excitement in a safe and secure environment. We aim to provide a place where children can relax and enjoy creative and stimulating activities in a structured, safe and relaxed atmosphere.
With over 20 years of experience, The BEST Club staff are passionate about offering fun, engaging, and enriching wraparound care.
Before and After School Club
Depending on the sessions you book, The BEST Club will provide breakfast, snack and a cooked meal at lunch time, taking any dietary requirements into account. We do ask that you provide a packed lunch for children to eat in the evening please.
Morning
- Breakfast Club – 7.15am – 8.40am
We serve a healthy breakfast offering a variety of choices and cater for all dietary requirements.
Afternoon
- Short After School – 3.10pm – 4.15pm
- After School – 3.10pm – 5.15pm
- Extended After School – 3.10pm – 6.15pm (6.00pm on Fridays)
At the end of the school day The BEST Club team will collect children from their classrooms, this applies to children who attend Bedgrove Infant School and Bedgrove Junior School.
The children are offered a wide range of activities, making use of both our indoor and outdoor facilities.
We offer different sessions depending on your childcare needs. Children can be collected earlier than the session end time but not later.
Children attending the longer sessions, 5.15pm and 6.15pm, are provided with a hot meal, prepared on the premises. We cater for all dietary requirements, so if you have any questions about the meals please contact the school office.
Your child must be collected no later than the end time of the session you have booked, if you are unable to collect on time you will need to book a longer session. .
The BEST Club closes at 6.15pm, 6.00pm on Fridays, and parents are required to collect their children promptly. Late collections will incur a charge of £5.00 per every 5 minutes.
Early Years BEST Club
We are excited to introduce a dedicated Early Years BEST Club. This provision will be based in our Treetop building, located within the Nursery, and will cater exclusively for children in F1 and F2. This dedicated space will allow us to tailor resources, activities, and support to meet the specific needs of our youngest children.
The Early Years BEST Club will operate the same core hours as the main BEST Club and will be staffed by familiar Nursery staff from 8.00am to 4.15pm. Outside of these hours (i.e. early morning and after 4.15pm), the children will join the main BEST Club in the school hall, where attendance is typically lower and quieter.
Holiday Club
We offer a range of sessions during the school holidays, which can be booked in accordance with your childcare needs. These sessions are available to all children, aged 3 to 11 years, regardless of what school they attend.

Half Day
- 8.00am – 1.00pm or 1.00pm – 6.00pm
School Day
- 9.00am – 3.00pm
Full Day
- 8.00am – 6.00pm
To allow us to effectively clean, maintain and improve the club spaces, The BEST Club will be closed for one week during the Christmas holidays and one week during the Summer holidays. This will ensure a high quality environment for all children when they return.
Bookings
If you are interested in booking your child in at The BEST Club, please follow the steps below. To ensure you have the option to book we would recommend registering. You will not be able to book on the club if you have not successfully registered.
- Complete a registration form (attached)
- Submit the form as soon as possible via email bestclub@bedgroveinfant.co.uk or drop a paper copy to the school office
- Book sessions via ParentMail
Children who do not attend Bedgrove Infant School will be charged a one-off registration fee of £10.00.
