Parking and Travel Plan Promise
At our School, we understand that parking can be quite challenging during peak times. To promote a healthier and more active lifestyle, we encourage all families to walk their children to school whenever possible. Our neighbourhood is bustling with activity, so we kindly ask that you show consideration for our local residents.
If driving is necessary, please ensure you park thoughtfully and adhere to the Highway Code. Try and use the ‘Park and Walk’ scheme, or simply park further away from the school entrance and walk the rest of the way. Please ensure you comply with UK parking regulations and not cause an obstruction by parking on:
- yellow zigzags
- grass verges
- junctions (or opposite)
- corners of the road
- footpaths
- roads opposite other vehicles
- double yellow lines
Also remember not park down the slip road to the entrance of the school as this makes it is difficult to turn around without causing disruption to other drivers, pedestrians and local residents. Be warned, local authorities frequently monitor the area, and parking violations may result in fines.
