Year 1 have had a fantastic start to the school year, with new friendships forming and acts of kindness being seen throughout the classroom every day. It has been wonderful to watch the children settle into their new environment, build relationships with their classmates and develop the confidence to work and play together.
Whether they are sharing resources, helping one another during activities or including others in their games, the children have been demonstrating what it means to be a kind and caring friend. Through both learning and play, Year 1 have been developing important social skills, learning how to cooperate, communicate and support one another.
The classroom has been filled with smiles, teamwork and encouragement as the children celebrate each other’s achievements and face new challenges together. These positive interactions help to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and ready to learn.
We are incredibly proud of the kindness, respect and friendship that Year 1 have shown so far this year. We look forward to watching these friendships continue to grow and blossom as the children share many more exciting learning experiences together throughout the year. 💛✨
