Our Year 2 children had a fantastic afternoon enjoying water play in the sunshine! With sprinklers, buckets, sponges and watering cans, there was plenty of laughter, teamwork and creative fun. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of a wonderful year and make special memories before the summer holidays. We are so proud of everything they have achieved! 🌟

🚑 Today Year 2 took part in a first aid assembly. They learned how to find a responsible adult should an event occur, apply a plaster correctly and help someone into the recovery position. They listened brilliantly, took the session seriously and showed just how caring and responsible they are.

Jaguar and Lion Classes had a wonderful day at @po

Jaguar and Lion Classes had a wonderful day at @pointblankadventures Point Blank Adventures today. They did archery, a ninja assault course, zip line, stream scramble, den building and marshmallow roasting. We only lost (and retrieved) a couple of shoes in the bog of doom! The children were awesome and gave everything a go. What a fantastic woodland adventure!

Inspired by Forky from Toy Story, our Year 1 children spent Thursday afternoon creating amazing junk modelling art from recycled materials. The classrooms were buzzing with creativity, fantastic ideas and lots of enthusiasm. We loved seeing all the brilliant creations come to life.

This week, our Year 2 children wowed families with their Leavers' Performances, taking us on their special Purple Journey through BIS. From the Great Fire of London and Florence Nightingale to David Attenborough and the butterfly life cycle, they showcased their learning brilliantly! 🦋🔥🎶

Today has been a fantastic Transition Day across the school!

The children thoroughly enjoyed spending time in their new classrooms, meeting their new teacher and TA's and exploring their exciting learning environments for the year ahead.

There was also great excitement as the children enjoyed trying out the equipment on their new playgrounds 🥳
