We are delighted to share some fantastic news with our school community. Thanks to the continued support of our pupils, families, and staff, we have successfully maintained our GOOD School Travel Plan Award.
This achievement reflects the commitment shown by our whole school community in promoting active and sustainable travel. Whether walking, scooting, cycling, using our Park and Stride scheme, or making safer and more environmentally friendly journey choices, every effort has contributed to this success.
By supporting sustainable travel, our children are developing valuable life skills, including independence, confidence, road safety awareness and healthy habits that will benefit them for years to come. This work also contributes towards our school’s Climate Action Plan, helping us reduce our environmental impact and encourage positive habits for the future.
We would like to thank all our families for their ongoing support and to congratulate everyone on this well-deserved achievement. Together, we are making a real difference to the health, wellbeing, and safety of our children and our wider community.
Well done, Bedgrove Infant School! 🚶♀️🛴🚲🌍🏆
