The children had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating Bright Clothes Day on Friday 19th June, marking the summer solstice —the longest day of the year! Traditionally, the summer solstice is a time to celebrate light, warmth, and the start of summer, making it the perfect occasion for a day full of colour and happiness.
Our school was filled with a rainbow of bright outfits, with children proudly showing off their bold and cheerful clothes. It created a fantastic atmosphere and brought smiles to everyone throughout the day.
To make it even more special, the children enjoyed a refreshing ice lolly in the sunshine—a real treat that was thoroughly enjoyed by all! There were lots of happy faces as everyone cooled down, spent time with friends and embraced the sunny weather.
Thank you to everyone for helping make it such a fun, vibrant, and memorable way to celebrate the summer solstice! ☀️🌟
